A little bit about me
I’m a designer with almost 20 years of experience. I’m experienced in both evaluative and generative research, and also hands-on delivery work with technical teams.
I’m a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) through Forrester, and I’m currently a Service Designer with HBF Health. I’ve worked in complex agile projects for the last 6 years, and managed to survive two digital transformations (if you know, you know!).
I’ve got a broad design skillset and knowledge based, spanning from visual (UI) design, to UX, CX and Service Design. I absolutely love working with smart people in different roles to unravel complex problems. I’m a natural collaborator who is able to build relationships and collaborate with others.
One of my key strengths is translating strategic objectives into a “north star” design vision, and ensuring it’s something that everyone can relate to and rally behind. My passion lies in creating human-centred, innovative products and experiences that are simple, helpful and memorable.
Public speaking
I’ve been lucky to speak at some amazing conferences, including DDDPerth (WA’s largest community run tech conference), Experience Design Perth and Localhost.
Some fun facts
My “most played” Spotify song for 2021 was Nobody Speak (DJ Shadow, Run the Jewels). 2021 was also the first year that Playschool or The Wiggles didn’t sneak into my list… a huge achievement!
I’m a devoted mother of one crazy, amazing, strong, smart and beautiful daughter.
I love doing a game of Wordle in the evenings (maybe a Quordle if I’ve solved it quickly).
For those familiar with the Myer Briggs personality test, I’m a typical ENFJ (Protagonist). ENFJ’s are caring, enthusiastic, idealistic, organised, diplomatic, responsible, skilled communicators who value connection with people. Read more about ENFJ’s here
